Welcome to the Jintana Flowers website. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our site.

1. About Us

Jintana Flowers is a florist based in Midhurst, West Sussex, UK. We offer fresh flowers and floral arrangements for all occasions including weddings, funerals, events, and everyday gifting.

2. Ordering and Payment

  • All orders are subject to availability and confirmation.
  • Orders can be placed online, in person, or by phone.
  • Full payment is required at the time of ordering unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We accept major debit and credit cards via our secure payment gateway.

3. Delivery

  • We deliver within Midhurst and surrounding areas.
  • Same-day delivery is available for orders placed before 3.00pm, subject to availability.
  • Delivery charges vary based on location and will be confirmed at checkout.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect delivery details provided by the customer.

4. Click & Collect

  • Customers may choose to collect their order in person from our shop during opening hours.
  • Please bring your order confirmation when collecting.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Orders may be cancelled or amended up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery or collection.
  • For weddings and events, a longer cancellation period and specific contract terms apply (please contact us for details).
  • Due to the perishable nature of flowers, refunds are not generally given once flowers have been delivered, except where there is a proven issue with quality or service.
  • If you are dissatisfied, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

6. Substitution Policy

  • In the event that certain flowers or products are unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute with items of equal or greater value and similar style.
  • We will do our best to match the original request and inform you if the substitution significantly alters the overall design.

7. Weddings and Events

  • Wedding and event bookings require a consultation and conformation of agreement.
  • A deposit is usually required to secure the date, with final payment due before the event.
  • Specific terms will be outlined in your wedding/event contract.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on this website (including images, logos, designs, and text) is the property of Jintana Flowers and may not be used or reproduced without permission.

9. Privacy

  • Your personal information is used only for processing orders and providing customer service.
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties without consent.

10. Liability

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses related to our services.
  • Our liability is limited to the value of the product or service purchased.

11. Changes to Terms

  • Jintana Flowers reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page.

13. Wedding Terms and Conditions

13.1 Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable booking fee of 20% is required to secure your wedding date. This will be deducted from your final invoice.
  • Full payment is due no later than 14 days before the wedding date. If payment is not received by this time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days and are subject to revision based on seasonal flower availability and supplier prices.

13.2 Changes & Cancellations

  • Minor changes to designs or quantities can usually be accommodated up to 4 weeks before the event, subject to availability.
  • If the wedding is cancelled more than 30 days before the event, only the booking fee is retained.
  • Cancellations within 30 days of the wedding may be subject to partial or full payment depending on work already undertaken or flowers already ordered.

13.3 Responsibility

  • We aim to deliver and install all wedding flowers on time and as agreed. However, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by events outside our control (e.g. extreme weather or road closures).
  • A responsible person must be available on-site to accept delivery or allow access for set-up.

14. Funeral Terms and Conditions

14.1 Ordering

  • We recommend ordering funeral flowers at least 48 hours in advance to allow time for preparation and sourcing specific requests.
  • We will liaise directly with funeral directors when needed to ensure timely delivery.

14.2 Cancellations

  • Cancellations or changes must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Refunds may not be available if flowers have already been ordered or prepared.

14.3 Custom Requests

  • We will do our best to fulfil specific flower or design requests, but substitutions may be necessary depending on availability.

15. Hire of Props, Stands, Vases and Display Items

15.1 Ownership & Hire Terms

  • All hired items (e.g. vases, pedestals, arches, stands, urns, candleholders, etc.) remain the property of Jintana Flowers.
  • A hire inventory list will be provided, and a security deposit may be required.
  • The hire period is usually up to 48 hours unless otherwise agreed.

15.2 Care & Responsibility

  • All hired items must be returned in their original condition. Any damaged, lost, or unreturned items will be charged at replacement cost.
  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure items are stored safely before collection or return.
  • If we are collecting, items must be available for pickup at the agreed time and location.

15.3 Cleaning

  • Items should be returned or left reasonably clean. A cleaning fee may be applied for excessively dirty or soiled items (e.g. wax residue, food, or soil).
